Arch4J was originally developed by members of SpiderLogic. They are the software development consulting branch of Sycamore Group and specialize in enterprise Java architecture.

Sycamore and SpiderLogic are now a service of Wipfli Ullrich Bertelson LLP. Check out the merger announcement.

Development on Arch4J has spread beyond the original group and is contributed to weekly in the form of feedback and requests. It is hoped that this project will take on an open source life of its own in the form of discussion and code contribution by those interested in J2EE.
